The BusinessWatch Group receives seal of excellence

City-based security firm The BusinessWatch Group is proud to have been awarded the seal of excellence from the industry’s highest inspectorate.

The company underwent months of intensive scrutiny to ensure it met with the rigorous standards set down by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).

And its efforts were rewarded with the Silver standard for the electronic security systems company.

“This award is proof that, even though we’re still a small business, we can compete at the very highest level,” said Managing Director Jonathan Wakerley.

NSI approved companies work to the highest recognised industry standards as demanded by the police, fire services and insurance industry.

“As a company, we are aiming for best practice in every area of our business,” said Jonathan. “And achieving the Silver standard of approval is proof we have reached it.”

As an NSI approved company BusinessWatch has been found to meet the highest performance standards, secured all relevant British and European standards for technical performance, security screened all relevant staff, provided staff training and supervision to industry best practice standards, comprehensively insured every area of the business to protect customers and staff and undergone inspections by professional auditors.

“The NSI accreditation is added peace of mind for our customers who know they are receiving the very best service from us,” said Jonathan.

A police spokesman backed the company’s achievements saying: “Peterborough Police encourage the use of NSI approved companies to ensure the individual contractor works to the highest recognised industry standards.”

The accreditation is the latest in a string of endorsements for the company which was named The Evening Telegraph’s Small Business of the Year 2007,
